I am a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Cogniac. I work on computer vision: I design new models and build the systems that train, evaluate, and run them in production for real customers.

Before Cogniac, I was a Software Developer at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, a Computer Vision / Deep Learning intern at Magic Leap, and a Design Engineer at Texas Instruments. I hold an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NC State University.

Work Highlights

• Designed a single vision model that handles detection, counting, classification, and segmentation
• Built the inference stack that runs our production models efficiently on GPUs
• Co-invented a segmentation method for thin, closely packed objects (patent pending), and hold a granted US patent from Texas Instruments
• Built the evaluation and release platform that every production model must pass
